Announced over on their blog, Aerosoft has updated their much-loved Douglas DC-8 add-on for Prepar3D v4 to version 2.0.0.0. This update brings along a variant has been longed for by customers, a DC-8 freighter model along with the corresponding paint kit. In addition to this, there is also a plethora of small improvements, corrections and fixes such as the reverser animation no longer. Aerosoft has a pretty nice DC8 which can be operated using normal operation procedures. I also think CaptainSim has a 707 but I don't.

Coolsky DC-9 was recently updated for P3Dv4 compatibility. That's a helluva old school bird. Perfect short hopper for those who want to leave the FMS at home but still get there before sundown. Good systems depth and a great cockpit, fantastic documentation with I consider very accurate fuel burn tables for flight planning.
I once planned a 2 hour flight and it had the burn down to within a hundred pounds. Includes burn tables for holding and divert, etc. Also has a very nice in game overlay with menus for all sorts of stuff, a great load sheet, and a complete set of 2D panels for that old school add on feel.
I personally always have the Sperry autopilot overlay up.Its also compatible with the FSX GPS via autopilot and you can even get it to work with the free CIVA INS via the autopilot.Also. Original Douglas DC-9 FCOM.

Perfectly applicable in most ways that matter. I can't recommend that plane enough.
